Using the Tropic Marin High-Precision Hydrometer
For the most accurate reading the sample water should be at 25 °C / 77 °F since specific gravity changes with temperature. The hydrometer should be clean and dry before use and allowed to float freely in a suitable measuring cylinder. Tropic Marin instructs users to read the value at the water surface on the blue part of the scale rather than at the meniscus and to rinse away salt residue after use to help preserve measurement accuracy over time. Why Choose the Tropic Marin High-Precision Hydrometer
If you want a precise non-digital salinity reference from one of the most trusted names in marine aquarium care this hydrometer is a smart addition to your reef toolkit. Its fine resolution dependable accuracy and no-recalibration design make it ideal for hobbyists who want a simple proven way to confirm specific gravity and maintain stable conditions for delicate marine life.
