Two roles, two lines

Turbelle pumps are propeller pumps built to move water within the tank, keeping detritus in suspension and flow running across the rockwork. Nanostream covers nano and mid-size displays; the Stream 6105 is aimed at larger water volumes. Silence pumps do the opposite job - they sit in or beside a sump and push water back up to the display or through connected equipment. The 1073.008 and 1073.020 represent two output steps in that line. Most reef systems end up running one of each type.

Matching part numbers

Tunze identifies its equipment by number, and the suffix carries as much weight as the base code, so match the complete number rather than the family it belongs to. Take the figure from the label on your existing pump or controller. Where an item shows as special order, that is a normal orderable state: the order goes in and the unit is brought in.
