Dose the Food, Not the Water

Processing and storage strip water-soluble vitamins and fatty acids out of prepared diets. Soaking food in a supplement for a few minutes before it goes in puts them back where the fish will actually consume them — dosed into the water instead, most of it simply becomes nutrient for algae.
