Two Different Jobs

Gel-type cyanoacrylate grabs fast and suits small frags going onto plugs and discs. Two-part putty has bulk to it, filling gaps and carrying weight, which is what you want when seating a colony on uneven rock or locking aquascape pieces together. Using both — putty for structure, a bead of gel to set it — is common practice.

What's Here

• Cyanoacrylate gels — thick and gap-filling grades, from small tubes to 8oz bottles.
• Two-part epoxy putty — tinted putties in 150g, 300g and 600g sizes for larger joins and aquascaping.
• Slow-cure liquid epoxy — around 30 minutes of working time for careful positioning.
• Accelerator spray — cures cyanoacrylate on demand instead of waiting it out.

Dry surfaces, one clean movement. Cyanoacrylate cures on contact with moisture, so pat the mount dry, press the frag home once and leave it alone rather than shifting it. Putty is far more forgiving and can be worked underwater. Questions? Email info@jlaquatics.com. Ships across the US and Canada.
