Measure the Inner Diameter

Tubing is specified by inner diameter, and that's the number that has to match your pump outlet or barb fitting. Guessing by looking at it is how you end up with a size that won't seat — and a fitting that leaks under pressure.

In This Collection

• Clear flexible vinyl tubing — cut to length, in 1/4, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4 and 1 inch inner diameters.
• Corrugated flex hose — 1 inch, in pre-cut 3 ft and 4 ft lengths for returns and drain lines.
• Multi-step hose adapters — for connecting mismatched tubing sizes.

Soften the tube end in hot water before pushing it onto a barb; it slides on easily and tightens as it cools. A clamp on any pressurized joint is cheap insurance. Questions? Email info@jlaquatics.com.
