The JBJ Nano Arctica E-Chiller - 10 Gallon is a compact thermoelectric aquarium chiller designed for nano aquariums where stable temperature control matters but a traditional compressor chiller may be too large. Built for freshwater and saltwater aquariums up to 10 gallons, this compressor-free E-Chiller uses a heat sink and fan-based thermoelectric cooling system to help reduce water temperature while keeping operation quiet, compact, and easy to install.

The 10 Gallon Nano Arctica E-Chiller is ideal for desktop aquariums, nano reefs, planted aquariums, shrimp tanks, axolotl systems, and other small displays where heat from room temperature, lights, pumps, or seasonal conditions can push water temperatures higher than desired. Instead of using a refrigerant compressor, the unit uses thermoelectric cooling technology with an onboard controller, LED display, and compact external body. When properly installed in a ventilated area, it can lower aquarium water temperature by up to 9 to 11 degrees Fahrenheit depending on ambient room conditions and system heat load.

Sizing and Installation Notes for the JBJ Nano Arctica E-Chiller
The 10 Gallon Nano Arctica E-Chiller should be sized around the actual heat load of the aquarium, not just the tank volume. Room temperature, lighting, pump heat, lid style, cabinet ventilation, and the number of degrees the aquarium must be cooled all affect performance. For best results, install the chiller close to the aquarium, minimize head pressure and tubing restrictions, and place the unit where the cooling fan has open airflow. Thermoelectric chillers are best suited for smaller systems and moderate temperature pull-downs, not large aquariums or extreme heat conditions.
Directions
Place the chiller on a stable surface in a dry, well-ventilated area with open airflow around the fan and heat sink. Connect the included pump and tubing so water flows through the chiller body and back to the aquarium. Confirm all tubing connections are secure, start water flow, and check carefully for leaks before powering the chiller. Set the target temperature using the onboard controls and allow the unit to cool gradually. Keep the fan intake and exhaust clear, clean dust buildup as needed, and always disconnect power before maintenance.

Aquarium Equipment Returns
- All returns and/or exchanges must be made within 14 days of receipt of product.
- Products may only be returned unused, and in original unopened packaging.
- J&L Aquatics reserves the right to charge a non-refundable 20% restocking charge for any/all returned merchandise (excluding exchanges).
- J&L Aquatics will not be responsible for return shipping charges. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. If the item was originally shipped under our free shipping policy, the cost of doing so will be removed from the credit. Before returning/exchanging any goods, we require that you authorize your return with J&L Aquatics. Any items returned without our authorization will be declined.
- In the event that your order is damaged by the carrier, a claim will be filed with the carrier company. Upon approval of the claim by the carrier, your original order will be re-shipped to you at no additional cost. If you wish to return the damaged goods for a refund or credit, the 20% restocking charge will be applied. J&L Aquatics will not be held responsible for any/all shipping delays that may occur from time to time.
