The Aqua Illumination Hydra 64HD LED - White is a high-output smart reef aquarium light designed for serious marine aquariums that require strong PAR performance, full-spectrum control, app-based programming, and a clean modern fixture finish. Built around the larger Hydra HD platform, the Hydra 64HD combines a 64 LED main array, dedicated moonlight LEDs, HyperDrive power management, wireless control, and broad mounting compatibility for advanced reef aquarium installations.
The white Hydra 64HD is ideal for aquarists building a high-performance reef system without the visual weight of a black fixture. Its larger body and higher-output LED array make it suitable for mixed reefs, SPS-dominant aquariums, deeper marine displays, frag systems, peninsula layouts, and multi-fixture setups where strong output and precise spectrum control are required.

- Coverage and coral suitability depend on aquarium dimensions, water depth, aquascape layout, coral placement, mounting height, and target PAR.
- Multiple Hydra 64HD fixtures may be required for long aquariums, wide systems, peninsula layouts, SPS-heavy reefs, or displays requiring highly uniform coverage.
- Mounting accessories are sold separately unless specifically included by the retailer or bundle.
- Use acclimation mode or reduced starting intensity when installing over established corals or upgrading from lower-output lighting.

Return Policy — Aquarium Equipment & Supplies
- All returns and/or exchanges must be made within 30 days of receipt of product.
- Before returning or exchanging any goods, you must contact J&L Aquatics to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Items returned without prior authorization will be declined.
- Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, in as-new condition, and in perfect sellable condition. All returns are subject to inspection upon receipt.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all online returns. This fee includes the cost of outbound shipping.
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs on standard returns.
- Order cancellations made before shipping are not subject to a restocking fee.

Defective, Warranty & DOA Items

- Confirmed defective and warranty returns have no restocking fee and no Affirm fee. Customer does not pay return shipping — J&L Aquatics will provide a prepaid return label.
- All defective claims are subject to inspection. Items showing signs of customer damage, improper installation, or misuse are not covered under warranty.
