The Seneye Reef Monitor watches the tank continuously and sends its readings to the Seneye app, with an optional WiFi web server so nothing has to stay plugged into a computer. Supporting it are slide packs, a slide soaker, a spare parts pack and a USB power adapter. Slides are a consumable with a fixed service life, so the real cost of running a Seneye is the hardware plus a standing slide order — worth planning for up front.
