Fittings Are Where Floods Start

It's rarely the pump that fails. It's a bulkhead that wasn't seated flat, a joint with no union so it can't be serviced, or a valve that won't throttle properly. Plumbing hardware is the cheap part of a build and the part worth getting right.

• Bulkheads and barb adapters — slip and threaded, 1/2 inch and up, with 90-degree versions for tight stands.
• Fittings and unions — elbows, tees and couplers for drain and return runs.
• Valves and clamps — ball and gate valves for flow control, hose clamps for securing tubing.
• Loc-Line and flow parts — adjustable nozzles and random flow generators to aim the return.
• Tubing — rigid and flexible, in a range of diameters.
