Plant fertilizers

• Flourish: a general plant supplement that forms the core of most routines.
• Flourish Excel: liquid organic carbon, used with or without injected CO2.
• Flourish Tabs: root tabs placed in the gravel beside swords, crypts and other root-feeding plants.
• Single nutrients: nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, iron and trace for fixing one deficiency at a time.

Buffers and minerals

Soft and RO water often lacks the minerals plants and fish need, which Equilibrium restores. Alkaline Buffer and Acid Buffer can be combined to land on a target pH and KH, while Neutral Regulator moves water toward neutral.

Cichlid and blackwater setups

Malawi/Victoria Buffer, Cichlid Lake Salt and Cichlid Trace build the hard, high-pH water that rift lake cichlids come from. Catappa tea bags do the opposite job, giving off tannins that stain the water amber for bettas and other blackwater fish.
